Enjoy Seattle by Living in Condos

Individuals who are moving into Seattle are finding out that there are great deals in condos. Home buyers are finding that they can afford more amenities and luxuries by buying a unit in Seattle condos for sale rather than buying individual homes.

Buyers of units of Seattle condominiums are finding that their money stretches more when it comes to condos. As an owner of a unit in a condo complex, the homeowner also partly owns the amenities that are provides to all condos including swimming pools, tennis courts and recreational rooms.

The boom in the Seattle condominiums market is apparent in the figures. Research indicates that the number of Seattle condominiums that have changed hands in the first quarter of the year increased by 18 per cent over the same time frame last year.

Real estate analysts are now suggesting that the booming market for Seattle condos could change the skyline of Seattle by the end of the decade.  According to these experts, the low lying homes of Seattle are going to give way to Seattle condos.

Developers of condos in Seattle are targeting a range of incomes. New condos will cost from $300,000 to more than $2 million depending on their location and the range of amenities that they offer. Some of the newer luxury condos are said to have solariums, spas and fully equipped gyms in addition to landscaped gardens.

Most of the Seattle new condos are slender buildings that are well over 400 feet tall. As a result of the new, tall buildings there is now space for more people to move away from the suburbs into Seattle.

In most Seattle condominiums, the owner of a condo unit is responsible only for the inner walls of the unit but not for the wall itself. The external parts of the condo including roof/crawlspace/attic/siding, are covered by the dues paid into the Homeowners Association.  However, this ownership of units in Seattle condos depends on the agreement drawn up between the condo unit and the management. So buyers need to be aware of what they are getting themselves into.

Buyers of Seattle condos need to make sure that the condo complex has passed a housing inspection. Prospective buyers can get an indoor house inspection done for their particular unit as well.
